The hotel is perfectly located by a picturesque lake with charming walking trails where locals go for a run. It offers a peaceful atmosphere and is within walking distance to the city center and major sights in the area. the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable stay. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a variety of options, including fresh breads and pastries. the hotel offers bike rentals to explore the surroundings easily.
The lunch and dinner menu can be quite expensive.

We liked the ambiance of staying in an historic castle and the coffee available at all times in the lobby. The double room was spacious.
We did not like the portable TV or the expensive internet option. The deluxe single room we had also booked was advertised with a "large seating area" whereas it was merely a small double room.

Hotel was lovely - gardens were lovely. There is a lot of history in the hotel. We rented bikes and had a wonderful ride around Potsdam.
For a luxury hotel, service was less than expected. On check in, the desk agent gave high level directions to room but did not offer to help with luggage or to find the room.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful historic building with stunning grounds. the location is perfect for those seeking a relaxing getaway. the staff at the reception were very friendly and accommodating.
The rooms were outdated and in need of renovation. the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable during hot weather.

The hotel is a historic property surrounded by beautiful gardens, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. During our Xmas stay, the staff was accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the well-decorated room. The location was also convenient to explore the nearby attractions.
The room lacked some amenities such as a kettle or extra toiletries. the Wi-Fi was not free and the TV was outdated.

The hotel grounds were amazing, as was the history of the family and the hotel. The room was very clean and the bed incredibly comfy. The restaurant was quite good as well.

The building is beautiful.
The gap between the atomosphere of the building and the room deco was huge for me. Room deco does not match to the historical palace building at all and there is no focul point in the room. Clean and spacious but it was very different from what I was expecting. The hotel reception was too simple as well. I felt like I entered from the back door. I wouldn't complain any of this if it is a one or two star hotel. Maybe my expectation was too high...
